Two-Factor Authentication is one of the best ways we can easily protect our accounts.

The good news is, it is easy to set it up using Google Authenticator, Lastpass Authenticator or any other Authenticator App. They all work in a similar fashion.

One lesson I learned the hard way, is, before you upgrade your phone, be sure to export your Two-Factor settings to the new phone before you erase your old phone!

Fixing the MacBook Pro Notch Debacle https://dottotech.com/fixing-the-macbook-pro-notch-debacle/ Wed, 09 Feb 2022 14:19:46 +0000 https://dottotech.com/?p=31004

Summary

Bartender 4 solves a problem Apple has created with the notch on the new Macbook Pro notebooks.

The notch takes up important screen real estate that normally contains our menu bar items. These items simply disappear behind the notch, with no easy way to access them, which can be a major inconvenience!

Enter Bartender4, a simple utility that allows you to create a second menu bar that slides down beneath the main menu bar. t is completely customizable and does a great job of solving the notch issue!

Finding Out Your Business Focus – GM70 https://dottotech.com/finding-out-your-business-focus-gm70/ Thu, 03 Jun 2021 10:10:42 +0000 https://dottotech.com/?p=27674

This is the episode of Grey Matters that every person thinking about starting a business – or succeeding in their existing business – should listen to right now. The alternative may mean months or even years of focusing in the wrong direction.

Show Notes

The age old question for entrepreneurs, “What should my business look like?” is one where the answer – or at least the correct answer – can elude us for far longer than we were hoping or imagining. Business owners are challenged with the need for customers, the desire to become profitable, and doubts about the right way to proceed.

How do we balance the passions we have with the problems we can solve for customers? How do we identify the right opportunities where our business can be the answer to customer problems? How do we avoid targeting too broadly, or too narrowly, for our ideal audience?

All of these questions are answered by Steve in another helpful episode of the Grey Matters podcast. What are you waiting for? Figure out your business focus – the right one – today.
